    Description

Amazing Fantasy #15 (Marvel, 1962) CGC Apparent NM+ 9.6 Slight (P) Off-white pages. You already know that this Marvel milestone issue has the origin and first appearance of Spider-Man, with a Jack Kirby cover and Steve Ditko art. But you may not know that according to CGC's current census, no copies, restored or unrestored, have been graded higher than 9.6 - and only one unrestored copy has received the certified grade of 9.6. So it goes without saying that restoration or no restoration, this amazing comic ranks among the absolute best of the best. CGC notes, "Restoration includes: color touch, piece added, tear seal." Unless you're the most hard-hearted of anti-restoration purists, this is a comic to widen the eyes and quicken the pulse; it's just beautiful. Overstreet 2003 VG 4.0 value = $2,526; FN 6.0 value = $3,789.
