    Showcase #45 Sgt. Rock - Savannah pedigree (DC, 1963) CGC NM+ 9.6 Off-white to white pages. Sgt. Rock had pretty much taken over Our Army at War by 1963, although the title wouldn't officially change for another 14 years. DC's premier war hero got his own book with this issue of Showcase, in which his origin is retold. The dynamic war artist duo of Russ Heath and Joe Kubert provided the cover art and interior art respectively. Overstreet 2011 NM- 9.2 value = $825. CGC census 11/11: 1 in 9.6, none higher.
