    Description

Showcase #30 Aquaman (DC, 1961) CGC NM- 9.2 Off-white pages. This is tied for the highest-graded copy that Heritage has ever offered of the first solo Aquaman comic. This was the first Aquaman tryout issue, with a Howard Purcell and Sheldon Moldoff cover, and Ramona Fradon art. It also presented the hero's origin, and with Jason Momoa playing the part of the "King of the Seven Seas" in feature films, this book's demand has skyrocketed, as has the selling price! Overstreet 2020 NM- 9.2 value = $7,900. CGC census 4/21: 8 in 9.2, 4 higher.
