Strange Adventures #205-216 Plus Bound Volume (DC, 1967-69). This is one of the most impressive bound comics volumes we've seen! Bound volume enthusiasts should be sure to note details like the custom marbling on the cover leather and endpapers, raised spine bands, foil stamping, speckled edges, and bookmark ribbon. This volume contains Strange Adventures #205-216, plus Brave and the Bold #79. Deadman is the star of this volume; his origin and first appearance are featured, with a great run of art by Neal Adams (with Carmine Infantino doing the art chores for issue #205). The comics have an unobtrusive ink price-stamp on the cover or first page, and they appear to have been in FN/VF or better condition when bound; issues #205 and 79 have minor damage at the right edge. Overstreet VG 4.0 value for group = $210.
