Description
Showcase #17 Adventures on Other Worlds (DC, 1958) CGC VF 8.0 Off-white to white pages. The origin and first appearance of Adam Strange, written by Gardner Fox, is incredibly hot, and it's worth noting that in November of 2020 we auctioned a CGC-certified VF/NM 9.0 copy for $26,400! The issue also contains the first appearances of Alanna and Sardath. Gil Kane turned in the flying saucer cover, with Mike Sekowsky adding interior art. Currently the #1 book on Overstreet's list of Top Ten Sci-Fi Comics, and #36 on Overstreet's Top 50 Silver Age Comics list. Overstreet 2023 VF 8.0 value = $4,820.
