    Description

Phucked-Up Phunnies #nn (Art Spiegelman, 1970) Condition: FN/VF. Holy cow, is this one rare! It's Art Spiegelman's earliest publication, including work he did for various Underground papers like Gothic Blimp Works, alongside art by Jay Lynch, Skip Williamson, Rory Hayes, and Justin Green. It was produced as an insert to the 1970 Harpur College yearbook, with a few copies (like this one) bound as a separate edition. Heritage has offered only one copy previously (mistakenly listed as from 1968), and in Good condition, it sold for over $2,000. This one looks much better, with only a bit of storage wear at the top of the book. If this elusive gem has been on your wantlist, better act now -- we may never find a better copy! Fogel's Underground Comix Price Guide Supplement FN value = $1,250; NM- 9.2 value = $2,500
