DescriptionOur Army at War #193 (D.C. Comics, 1968). 5/1968 - Scarce Issue! During his deployment to North Africa with Easy Company, Rock meets another soldier nicknamed Farmer Boy who carries around a pot of soil. Farmer Boy protects the soil and wishes to make something grow from it. Sometime later during the campaign in North Africa Rock wins his stripes and Farmer Boy is still protecting his soil. During a battle Farmer Boy is fatally wounded, but he inspires Easy to destroy a tank. Robert Kanigher story, Joe Kubert cover and art.
