Description

Josie #1-104 Near Complete Run File Copies Bound Volume Group of 16 (Archie, 1963-81). A near-complete run of Josie (including early issues of the title as She's Josie and later issues as Josie and the Pussycats) with file copies of #1-104 bound into 16 handsome volumes. The green cloth-bound books are numbered from No. 1 to No. 16. Includes #45 with the first appearance of the Pussycats and #46 with the bands first cover appearance. The earlier books show handling wear on the exterior, but the comics are generally in nice condition with off-white to tan pages, plus bright and glossy covers. Some covers/issues have small tears and pieces out. The comics in volume No. 16 do not appear to have been trimmed, while it appears the other 15 volumes have been. No. 13 has significant damage to the green cloth cover, presumably damage from water or some other liquid, and has fading/color loss/warping, but the interior comics are generally unaffected. Approximate Overstreet 2024 VG 4.0 value for group = $1,200.
