    Description

Fantastic Four Annual #1 (Marvel, 1963) CGC NM+ 9.6 Off-white pages. Finding an annual from the early Marvel Age in this certified grade is quite a feat! As any collector can attest, squarebound issues do not generally fare as well holding up over the years as do their thinner "regular size" associates! The bigger size accommodated a wealth of guest appearances: Spider-Man (in one of his earliest), the Sub-Mariner, and Mr. Sunshine himself, Dr. Doom! Add the first appearances of Lady Dorma and Krang, and you got yourself a comic book! Jack Kirby and Dick Ayers cover and art. Steve Ditko also contributed story art. Overstreet 2020 NM- 9.2 value = $1,975. CGC census 4/21: 10 in 9.6, 3 higher.
