    Description

Fantastic Four #8 (Marvel, 1962) CGC NM 9.4 Off-white to white pages. This early issue of The Fantastic Four contains the very first appearance of the Puppet-Master and Alicia Masters. Jack Kirby not only renders the cover, he also draws the interior story which revolves around the Puppet Master using his radioactive clay to gain control of his daughter, Alicia, and the Thing. While under the fiend's control, they attack the Fantastic Four. Can the other members defeat the Thing and Alicia without hurting them? Will the Puppet-Master get his just desserts? Does the bear live in the woods? Beautiful, high-grade copies with sharp corners and a virtually flawless spine are tough to find, so latch onto this prize. No copy has graded higher than this one according to CGC's most recent census. Overstreet 2003 NM 9.4 value = $1,275.
