    Description

Fantastic Four #1 (Marvel, 1961) CBCS Restored NM- 9.2 Slight/ Moderate Off-white to white pages. Absolutely gorgeous copy of an issue that very rarely shows up in this grade, whether in restored or un-restored states. It's the title and issue that officially ushered in the Marvel Age of Comics with the origin and first appearance of the Fantastic Four, Marvel's first superhero team. It was the Stan Lee/Jack Kirby collaboration at its most inventive and best. The issue currently ranks #3 on Overstreet's list of Top 50 Silver Age Comics. CBCS notes, "Professional Restoration includes: Color touch to cover, tear seal, staples cleaned, cover cleaned." Overstreet 2015 NM- 9.2 value = $120,000. CGC census 11/15: 2 in 9.2, 5 higher.
