    Description

Daredevil #1 (Marvel, 1964) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Off-white pages. By this point in Marvel's formative years, it had become evident that Marvel fan-addicts enjoyed flawed heroes, and Stan Lee took that notion one step further by creating Daredevil, a blind attorney/crusading superhero, who is still a fan favorite more than half of a century later. The memorable cover of this debut issue, featuring a Spider-Man appearance, is by Jack Kirby and Bill Everett, the latter of whom provided the interior art for the issue. The first appearances of Karen Page and Foggy Nelson are also included. Overstreet 2018 VF/NM 9.0 value = $7,475; NM- 9.2 value = $11,000. CGC census 11/18: 83 in 9.0, 106 higher.
