    Description

Blackhawk #108 (DC, 1957) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Cream to off-white pages. Blackhawk had been one of Quality's most enduring characters, first appearing in Military Comics in 1941. This issue was the first for DC, one of many Quality titles taken over by the leading comics publisher of the day. To DC's credit, long-time Blackhawk artist Dick Dillin was retained and continued to draw the classic team for another eleven years. This high-grade copy is just a quarter-grade shy of the highest-graded copy that CGC has reviewed to date of the issue. Overstreet 2002 NM 9.4 value = $550. From the collection of Bobby Harmon.
