Amazing Spider-Man #1 (Marvel, 1963) CGC GD/VG 3.0 Off-white to white pages. The Fantastic Four may not have suspected Spidey's "Real Power," but they would soon learn.... This super-key issue, with a Jack Kirby/Steve Ditko cover and Ditko interior art was the premiere issue of Marvel's most successful and popular title. The Chameleon and J. Jonah Jameson make first appearances, and the Fantastic Four's appearance is their first crossover. Spidey's origin is retold, just in case anyone had forgotten the details from seven months earlier, in Amazing Fantasy #15. Overstreet 2003 GD 2.0 value = $842; VG 4.0 value = $1,684.
