Amazing Fantasy #15 (Marvel, 1962) CGC VF- 7.5 Cream to off-white pages. A comic book of great significance, this issue surpassed Showcase #4 and Fantastic Four #1 as the most sought-after Silver Age comic book, and despite its relative "youth", it rivals all but the top ten Golden Age comics in terms of value. The amazing Spider-Man made his debut in this one-shot issue, which continued the numbering from Amazing Adult Fantasy; Webhead was such a hit that his own title hit the stands a mere seven months later. The issue also featured the first appearances of Uncle Ben and Aunt May. Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko collaborated on the famous cover, with Ditko providing the interior art for the Spider-Man story and backup features. It's a book that doesn't often turn up for sale in high grades, and this is the highest grade we've seen on a copy in the past year. Overstreet 2012 VF 8.0 value = $50,000.
