DescriptionZap Comix #0 First Printing (Apex Novelties, 1968) CGC NM+ 9.6 Off-white to white pages.
This Robert Crumb classic comes with quite a back story. Crumb had intended the contents of this issue to be published as Zap #1, but the art was misplaced and feared to be lost. He had made Xerox copies of each page, which were sent to a friend; they were later returned and touched up for use, with new cover art, as issue #0, which came out between issues #2 and 3 in 1968. The "10/67" date found inside the book is when Crumb finished the art. This super-sharp first-printing copy has all the qualities to make any collector of high-grade comics happy. Fogel's Underground Comix Price Guide Supplement NM- 9.2 value = $1,000. CGC census 11/13: 5 in 9.6, 4 higher.
