Description
Zap Comix #0 First Printing (Apex Novelties, 1967) CGC NM/MT 9.8 White pages. This should have been Robert Crumb's first solo comic book, but it almost didn't get published at all! When Crumb completed the art, he handed it off to someone he knew to have it published, and that's the last he ever saw of it! Luckily, after publishing a different comic as Zap Comix #1, photocopies of this issue turned up, which Crumb re-inked and had published, hence the #0. This is a scarce first printing. Fogel's Underground Comix Price Guide lists values of $600 in FN 6.0 and $1,000 in NM 9.4 condition. Not currently listed in Overstreet.
