    Description

Tales From the Ozone #1 (Print Mint, 1969) CGC Apparent FN 6.0 Slight (A) Cream to off-white pages. This one seems to be on every Underground collector's want list! Originally printed in conjunction with Russ Gibb's Grande Ballroom in Detroit, the back cover actually features ads for "upcoming" acts, including the MC5, Jethro Tull, the Velvet Underground, Chuck Berry, even Iggy Pop and the Stooges. Inside, Robert Crumb, Vaughn Bodé, Gilbert Shelton, and more do the art honors. A really tough book to find, in any condition; CGC notes, "Restoration includes: spine splits sealed to cover." Fogel's Underground Price Guide GD 2.0 value = $150; FN 6.0 value = $450. CGC census 10/06: 1 in 6.0, 5 higher. Adult themes.

View the certification for CGC Certification ID 0754825016 and purchase grader's notes if available.
