Gothic Blimp Works #5 (East Village Other, 1969) Condition: NM. For collectors of Underground Comix, these tabloid newspapers, loaded with great art by the likes of Kim Deitch, Spain Rodriguez, Bill Griffith, Trina Robbins, and more, are usually on the top of the ol' want list. When they do turn up, chances are they are folded; more often than not, they are tattered to the point of falling apart. Here's a chance to own a beautiful, flat and unfolded copy of this extremely rare issue. Listed in Jerry Weist's 2000 Comic Art Price Guide with a NM value of $125, with a note about the scarcity of high-grade copies.
