Gothic Blimp Works #4 (The East Village Other, 1969). An audacious experiment in Underground Comix, Gothic Blimp Works lasted for eight taboo-busting issues as a precursor/parallel to the ZAP Comix scene and interrelated titles of the 1960s-70s. Surviving copies are rare in any condition -- owing to the fragility of the pulpwood newsprint and the easily crimped and folded tabloid format.
