    Cunt Comics #1 (Apex Novelties, 1969) CGC NM/MT 9.8 Cream to off-white pages. The story of Rory Hayes is a sad one; an avid dabbler in illegal drug use, he lost his life at an early age. Considered the enfant terrible of Underground Comix, his crude-yet-clean style was championed by many big names in the business, including his mentor, Robert Crumb. Here's Hayes' answer to Crumb's Snatch Comics, a digest-sized sex comic, reportedly drawn while Hayes was still a virgin. This ultra-sharp copy is the more-common newsprint version, printed at the same time as the rare white-paper edition. Jerry Weist's 2000 Comic Art Price Guide lists this book with a NM value of $100.
