The Brave and the Bold #14 (DC, 1957) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Off-white pages. This is the only copy graded above VF by CGC as of this writing! From the era before the title became a "showcase" book, this one has the derring-do of the Silent Knight, the Viking Prince, and Robin Hood. The latter is featured on Irv Novick's underwater cover. Overstreet 2006 VF/NM 9.0 value = $440; NM- 9.2 value = $610. CGC census 3/07: 1 in 9.0, none higher. From the Warren Hall Collection.
