Description
Amazing Stories August 1928 (Gernsback, 1928) Condition: FN/VF. This issue is famous for featuring the first appearance of Buck Rogers in any medium! Even though that's the Skylark of Space on the cover, not Buck Rogers, (Buck didn't make a cover appearance until March 1929), the cover illustration by Frank Paul is a classic. Regarding condition, this copy is very remarkable and sometimes words fail us -- we can only urge you to examine the detailed scans available on our web site, and see for yourself! Heritage has sold several copies of this issue, and this is the best (by far) that we've yet offered at auction. Interior pages are light tan, the cover stock shows virtually no oxidation.
