Description
Amazing Stories Annual #1 (Ziff-Davis, 1927) Condition: FN. This was Amazing Stories' only annual, and its cover story, Master Mind of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs, made it popular with readers at the time and with collectors now. Its 100,000 copy print run quickly sold out, and inspired publisher Hugo Gernsback to launch Amazing Stories Quarterly a few months later. While Bookery's lists it as "uncommon", this is only the second copy we've seen with a grade of FN or better. This copy has multiple spine splits up to 2.5" in length.
