Margaret Brundage's classic "bat-woman" cover is one of her best, and has been reprinted many times. The contents include the Conan tale "The Pool of the Black One" by Robert E. Howard, "Seed of the Sepulcher" by Clark Ashton Smith, and a Jules de Grandin tale by Seabury Quinn. The right edge has been trimmed, otherwise, this copy is clean and tight, with great color, a full unfaded spine, and supple cream pages. Bookery's Guide to Pulps FN value = $1,000.
