Howard, creator of of Conan, Solomon Kane, Kull of Atlantis, and others, made his first appearance in the pages of Weird Tales in this issue with the story "Spear and Fang". Contents also include H. P. Lovecraft's "The Unnameable", and "The Werewolf of Ponkert" by H. Warner Munn. The spine has been rebuilt, a subscription crease to the front over has been reinforced with tape on the cover interior, and a 1.25" tear to back cover has been sealed with tape.
