Featuring the first appearance of Conan the Cimmerian in "The Phoenix on the Sword" by Robert E. Howard, this is one of the most sought-after issues of Weird Tales and one of the most influential pulps of all time. Howard repurposed an unsold Kull story "By This Axe I Rule!" turning it into the first appearance of his new hit character. As well, this issue sports a J.
