Lovecraft) 1940; January, March, May (The Case of Charles Dexter Ward by Lovecraft begins, back cover detached), July, September, and November 1941; January, March ("Herbert West -- Reanimator" by Lovecraft begins), September, and November (Ray Bradbury's first Weird Tales work) 1942; January, March, May, July (FR), September ("The Geezenstacks" by Fredric Brown), and November 1943; May (FR), July, September, and November 1945; January, March, May, July and November 1946; January, March, and May 1947; May 1948; May (John D. MacDonald story), July (Brown story), September, and November 1949; January 1950; and March, May, July, September, and November (no back cover) 1951 issues. Cover artists include the inimitable Margaret Brundage, Hannes Bok, Matt Fox, and John Giunta. A few of them have one or two pieces of tape on the covers; the ones marked FR tend to have lots of tape. Approximate Bookery's Guide to Pulps value for group = $915.
