Description

Thrilling Mystery #16 February 1937 (Standard) CGC FN/VF 7.0 Off-white pages. This issue sports a classic skull cover for "Kiss of Death". Other pieces of pulp horror featured here include "Slaves of the Dancing Death" and "Hell's Darkest Halls", the latter by Hugh B. Cave. This book is an absolute ghost; we haven't seen a copy in over a decade and can't find any recorded sales online. It's impossible to overstate just how special it is to find this great issue in such gorgeous condition. Bookery's Guide to Pulps Second Edition 2020 VF 8.0 value = $360. CGC census 9/25: 2 in 7.0, none higher. NOTE: The newly released Bookery's Guide to Pulps: Revised Third Edition 2025 FN 6.0 is $2,500; VF 8.0 value for this issue is $5,000.
From the Dr. Richard Meli Collection.
