    Shadow V5#1 with The Hero Pulp Index (Street & Smith, 1933) Condition: VG. Includes the March 1, 1933 issue, accompanied by a copy of Robert Weinberg and Lohr McKinstry's 1971 booklet "The Hero Pulp Index". The issue includes the Shadow story "Fingers of Death", as well as backup stories by Lester Dent (whose stint as the main writer of the Doc Savage pulp series begin the same month this issue hit the stands) and Norvell Page (whose lengthy run on The Spider would begin at the end of this same year). The pulp has supple cream pages, a complete spine, and mild to moderate tears and creases to the cover. The booklet has some small areas of discoloration to the cover.
