    Description

Doc Savage - March 1933 (Street & Smith) Condition: Apparent FN-. A beautiful copy of the historic debut issue of the classic pulp series, featuring a classic Walter Baumhofer cover. This is one of the nicest copies we've encountered, and only third copy of the US edition we've seen. The cover and spine are complete, and the pages are light tan but supple with tan edges. The overhang is present and well-preserved. Restoration includes color touch to cover and tape reinforcement to interior of front cover. This entire run of Docs presents beautifully, as nice as we've ever seen on the early issues! Bookery's Guide to Pulps GD value = $1,500; VG value = $3,750; FN value = $7,500.
