    Description

Doc Savage - January 1934 (Street & Smith) Condition: FN-. This key issue features the first appearance of Doc's cousin, Pat Savage, who would quickly become a popular recurring character throughout the series. The cover is by Walter M. Baumhofer. This is the nicest of the three copies we've encountered to date. Complete and unfaded cover and spine, cream pages with tan edges, and a well-preserved overhang. Only the tape along the edges of the interior of the front cover prevents it from grading much higher. This entire run of Docs presents beautifully, as nice as we've ever seen on the early issues! Bookery's Guide to FN value = $350.
