Doc Savage - March 1933 (#1) (Street & Smith) Condition: Apparent VF+. A beautiful copy of the historic debut issue of the classic hero pulp series, featuring a classic Walter Baumhofer cover. This is an amazing high-grade copy with minor to very moderate professional restoration and is the nicest of the four copies we've seen to date. Flat, tight, with deep original colors. Pages are very supple and cream to off-white. A must-have pulp. Restoration includes small pieces added to top and bottom spine, small tear seals at top edge, and color touch. Light trimming.
