Black Mask #132 December 1929 (Pro-Distribution) Condition: Apparent GD/VG. This issue includes "The Maltese Falcon" by Dashiell Hammett, part four of five, and a cover by J. W. Schlaikjer. Bookery's describes as "uncommon at best", and this is only the second copy we've ever seen. Restoration includes extensive glue to cover interiors. There are also small pieces of tape at spine, staining, and foxing. Despite the defects, this is still a very readable copy of an incredibly rare and sought-after pulp.
