Amazing Stories V3#5 (Ziff-Davis, 1928) Condition: FN/VF. A key pulp featuring the first appearance of Buck Rogers in any medium, as well as a wonderful Frank R. Paul cover that features a scene from E. E. "Doc" Smith's first published story, "The Skylark of Space". Created by Philip Francis Nowlan, Buck has since had a long and successful life in newspapers, television, and movies, and has provided the inspiration for countless imitators. This copy has a full spine, cream pages, very little wear, and none of the chipping so often found on pulps of this era. Bookery's Guide to Pulps FN value = $800.
