Spy Stories #5 June 1929 (Hersey) CGC FN+ 6.5 Off-white to white pages. Rasputin's decapitated head graces this issue's cover by R. C. Wardell. We've found the 1929 run of this title to be among the rarest sequences in pulps, and this issue's unusually grisly cover makes it especially desirable among the six 1929 issues. To date, we've only encountered one of the 1929 issues of Spy Stories, and only one complete copy of that issue. An intense bidding war is inevitable for a great book like this that combines incredible rarity, impressive condition, and a shocking subject matter.
