Treasure Box of Famous Comics (Cupples & Leon, 1934) Condition: Average VF+. It's extremely rare to find this boxed set of all five books in any condition, but these are just gorgeous VF+ copies, and the box is in FN condition itself. Measuring 8.5" x 7", with 36 pages and softcovers, these books are abbreviated versions of their pre-1934 editions. Titles include Reg'lar Fellers, Harold Teen, Dick Tracy and Dick Tracy Jr., Smitty, and Little Orphan Annie. Overstreet does not even list values for grades above VF for these books! Overstreet lists the FN 6.0 value for the box alone at $228. Overstreet 2019 FN 6.0 value for the entire set, in the box = $640; VF 8.0 value = $1,500.Auction Info
