    Description

New Adventure Comics #19 Mile High pedigree (DC, 1937) CGC NM+ 9.6 Off-white to white pages. This oldie but goodie rates a Gerber "rare" or "8", and no other copy comes close to this Mile High copy. This is the fifth Creig Flessel cover in this series -- he would do the remaining 12 in this title, then continue his outstanding work after the title change to Adventure Comics with #32. Flessel, Joe Shuster, and teenager Bill Ely provided story art. Overstreet 2009 NM- 9.2 value = $4,100. CGC census 4/10: 1 in 9.6, none higher. From the Gary Keller Collection.
