One of the toughest early Detectives to locate, in more than 12 years of comic auctions we have only offered copies on two previous occasions, and only one of those was a Universal grade (5.0 VG/FN). Larry Steele begins in this issue that features art by Creig Flessel (cover and interior art) and Joe Shuster. Overstreet 2012 VG 4.0 value = $2,900. CGC census 5/13: 3 in 3.5, 4 higher.
