Detective Comics #3 Lost Valley pedigree (DC, 1937) CGC FN- 5.5 Off-white pages. Not only is this the highest-graded unrestored copy on CGC's census, there are only two other copies listed: a 4.5 and a 4.0. You can see why Gerber called it a "9" or "very rare." It's kept out of Overstreet's top 100 only because no value above VF is listed; only about 40 Golden Age books have a higher VF value. Creig Flessel cover art. Overstreet 2012 FN 6.0 value = $9,000. CGC census 7/12: 1 in 5.5, none higher.
