100 Pages of Comics #101 (Dell, 1937) CGC NM- 9.2 Off-white pages. The square binding and stiff covers would normally preclude this book from even coming close to high-grade. Even square bound giants published three decades later are extremely rare in this kind of condition, and this book is from the 1930s! It features Wash Tubbs, Captain Easy, Major Hoople, Alley Oop, Tom Mix, and Tailspin Tommy. Overstreet notes the book as #101, and the back cover does show that number. CGC has certified the book as #1, perhaps because this is the only issue of the title. Call it either, but don't miss this rare opportunity to get a Near Mint book that is over 65 years old.
