Description

Don Heck - New York City Streetscape Illustration and Preliminary Original Art (undated). This dense canyon of mid-rise commercial buildings gives us major Manhattan vibes -- more specifically, we're thinking Midtown! Iron Man co-creator Don Heck rendered this for an unknown project using ink over graphite on illustration board with an image area of 10" x 7.5". There is a 2-2.5" frame of residue stains around the image area, and whatever was pasted here is not included. Comes with a preliminary in graphite on onion skin that measures 10.25" x 7.75". Both are toned. The prelim is signed by Heck. The finished piece is in Good condition, the prelim is Very Good.
From the Roger Hill Collection.
