    Description

Neysia Allan - Original Pulp Magazine Cover Art (1930). A rare romance pulp cover original for All-Story - Love Stories of the American Girl, published June, 1930. This is also unique, as the illustrated portion is fully colored and most of the covers that have surfaced of this pulp are rendered in black and white (color was later added by the publisher). This is executed in pen-and-ink and watercolor on board, and it is matted (30 x 23.5) with an approximate sight size of 22 x 15.5. It is signed lower left, Neysia Allan; this is possibly a pseudonym for the artist Dorothy Flacks, who did a number of covers for the All-Story romance pulps.
