David Mattingly Ocean Under the Ice Paperback Cover Painting Illustration Original Art (Baen, 1994). A rocket-shaped spacecraft sets down on an alien world on this fantastic cover created for the second sequel to the science fiction novel Rocheworld by Robert L. Forward. Mixed media on canvas board with an image area of 14" x 23". Paper overlay taped on the back, adhesive residue on the corners, and light handling wear.
