Will Eisner and Al Wenzel The Spirit Section "Heat" Page 6 Original Art dated 8-17-52 (Des Moines Register and Tribune Syndicate, 1952). This amazing page is from a story written by Jules Feiffer and features the sad life story of Spider Webbin, as told in flashback, as he plunges to his death on the moon. Specifically it features his interactions with Fly Musca. (Musca is Latin for "Fly".) Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 13" x 18". A couple of the paste-up page header text pieces are missing, and there's some glue residue from the paste-ups evident. Overall page tanning and a bit of mildew on the backside, top right corner. Overall the page is in Very Good condition.
