Whitman Artist Superman Smashes the Secret of the Mad Director Complete Set of 150 Paperback Illustrations Original Art (Whitman, 1966). The complete interior illustrations, artist unknown, for Whitman paperback #2060, which was released to capitalize on the groundbreaking Saturday morning cartoon series "The New Adventures Of Superman." Comprised of 150 pen and ink original illustrations on 17 sheets, each measuring 16.75 x 25", with each panel attached separately. Each panel has an image area of 5.25" x 6" and is ink over graphite on Bristol. Lot also includes the complete typed script, totaling 71 sheets, with extensive notations throughout. Very Good condition. Also included are some cover stat elements as well as a copy of the paperback.Auction Info
