Wayne Boring and Stan Kaye Action Comics #199 Story Page 3 Original Art (DC, 1954). The titular "Phantom Superman" is up to no good on this page. It's easier to tell on the published version, as he is colored in solid grey. The real-deal Clark Kent is in the last panel. This page was created twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 13" x 19" (including the paste-up header). And as if having two versions of Superman on the same page were not cool enough... the page is Plexiglas front framed in a 23" x 28.5" Dan Makara custom frame. Makara has decorated the frame with decoupage covers from various Action Comics and Superman issues (including this issue's cover), and some other choice vintage panels. The frame is signed by Makara on the reverse. In Excellent condition.
