Wally Wood Daredevil #5 Matador Page 20 Original Art (Marvel, 1964). "Sometimes even the bull may win..." The yellow-costumed Daredevil shares these closing scenes from the Dawn of the Marvel Age of Heroes with his foe, the Masked Matador, his alter-ego Matt Murdock, and his friends, Karen Page and Foggy Nelson. Note that Daredevil's costume now has the "DD" emblem for the first time, instead of just a single "D." Although production notes indicate that this page was slated for issue #6, as all DD-fans know, it actually appeared in #5. Silver Age Marvel superhero art penciled and inked by Wally Wood is not often seen for sale -- this is only the second such DD page Heritage has auctioned to date -- and it's "fresh to the marketplace." The page has an image area of approximately 12.5" x 18.5", and its's in Excellent condition.
