Wally Wood Captain Nice "Test Issue" Trading Card #10 Card Back Comic Strip Original Art Comic Strip (Topps, 1967). The comic art genius of Wally Wood was called upon for the high-camp hilarity that was Captain Nice. The Batman TV series was going into its second season when CBS punched back with the Buck Henry-created Capitan Nice, which starred William Daniels. The series only lasted one season, but in that short time it spawned a single issue of a comic book (from Gold Key), and almost got a trading card set. The Topps Company produced a "test issue" set. The card backs were comic strips a-la Bazooka Joe. This strip was created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 7". In Excellent condition.Auction Info
