    Description

Todd McFarlane The Amazing Spider-Man #319 Splash Page 1 Original Art (Marvel, 1989). As humiliating as it is, Spidey is forced to make a pizza run for the Scorpion, in this splash page for "The Scorpion's Tail of Woe!" Todd McFarlane's work on The Amazing Spider-Man ushered him into comic book superstar status, and this page, brimming with potent action, intricate detail and fine line work, demonstrates why. The art has an image area of 10" x 15" and it includes its original indicia paste-up at the bottom. Some light glue staining in the title type; otherwise the work is in Excellent condition. Signed by the artist at the lower right. From the Shamus Modern Masterworks Collection.
